All our new and returning students had the chance to take part in some fun activities during their Freshers’ Fair this week!
There were lots of local community organisations giving important information to our students, including:
• West Kent Mind, who spoke to everyone about how important it is to talk about their mental health.
• Imago, a social action organisation promoting volunteering opportunities within the community and how they can help our students.
• Kent Fire and Rescue Services, promoting safe driving
• Our own Learning Resource Centre, who provided a lucky dip and information about the range of books they have to help them with their studies.
• Plus many more!
Lots of fun was had by all participating in the activities, which included an inflatable assault course, the opportunity to pose for a selfie with props with our social media frames, enjoying ice cream and candy floss, as well as making their own smoothie on the smoothie bike!
We were very proud of our music students who performed throughout the day, as well as our motor vehicle students, who showed off the college race car simulator, built by some of our past students!
We’re looking forward to seeing you all progress through your studies!
