Musical Theatre Show (Make It!)

Date: 16 May 2018 Time: 19:30 - 21:30

The future stars of Broadway have to start somewhere right? Those who ‘make it’ start at PA – The High School for Performing Arts in New York City. Meet the faculty and students as they forge through another year of training, triumphs and heartache. The starry eyed students are bursting with creative passion but have to walk the tightrope between social and racial divisions as well as facing up to academic pressures. Can their mutual love for the arts really bridge the gaps? Or will the ultimate loss bring them closer than they ever could have dreamed?

Meet fame hungry Carmen – the dancing Spanish siren, ambitious and romantic actress Serena, prestige hunting Nick Piazza and Street Dancer/drop out Tyrone as they ‘hit the heights’ and ‘learn how to fly’ and ‘really see who they can be’ during the toughest 3 years of their lives. Fame is an explosion of youthful exuberance and the music reflects the thrilling vibrancy of the bustling New York streets. So, if you’ve ever had visions of dancing on top of cars down 46th street or wondered if dreams really do come true…come see some magic.
