West Kent College is an excellent place to study A levels. Highly qualified subject specialist lecturers teach in modern facilities with up-to-date technology.
Students are given a high level of support with 1-1 meetings occurring half-termly as well as the ability of all students to contact lecturers regarding any issues.
Students are supported in their independent work via Moodle, a virtual learning resource, which gives them access to lesson materials, videos and links to useful websites.
With the course being very practical based helps students develop the skills sought after by Universities.
Our A Level courses aims to encourage learners to:
- develop essential knowledge and understanding of their subjects
- develop and demonstrate a deep appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of methods
- develop competence and confidence in a variety of practical and problem solving skills
- develop their interest in and enthusiasm for the subject, including developing an interest in further study and careers associated with the subject
After your first year you will achieve a AS level qualification. After the second year you will achieve an A level qualification. This results in two separate qualification achievements from the two-year course.
