In year 1 you will work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts, if you achieve this you can progress onto year two and work towards the Extended Diploma.

Our Acting pathway looks at devised and scripted work, classical and contemporary performance, audition skills and developing voice and movement.

Class work will help you learn and develop new practical skills and explore progression opportunities. Practical work is underpinned with relevant research skills and you will be encouraged to evaluate your work reflectively. Alongside your performance work, you will study the history and theory of performance creation.

This course will encourage you to work to your strengths, share ideas and work professionally and collaboratively as an ensemble to participate in a range of public performances in the College theatre.

The course will culminate in a final major project where you will realise your performance skills.

Further your skills on a degree course, at university or conservatoire, or on a higher apprenticeship. Entry to the performing arts industry via a talent agency.
