Performing Arts students rehearsing on stage

Within Kent and Medway there is an under-representation of people working within the performing arts sector, which is anticipated to grow by 2020.

By studying at West Kent College, you will benefit from performing arts courses that offer a wide and exciting range of nationally recognised qualifications. We provide specialisms within dance, acting, musical theatre and stage production. You will benefit from specialised training in your chosen area and the opportunity to be involved in two productions a year, building on and developing new skills.

Qualifications in Performing Arts can lead to becoming an Actor, Community Arts Worker, Dancer, Lighting Technician, Performance Artist, Sound Engineer, Stage Hand, Stage Manager, and Theatre Director among many others.

Look out for details of our student performances and productions to see how our courses can develop your skills and introduce you to this exciting industry.
