Get Involved

We know that your University programme is important to you, and we aim to enhance this by giving you the opportunity to develop graduate attributes throughout your time with us.

You can make the most of the opportunity to develop your skills set through playing your part in college life. Why not become an elected Student Governor or Programme Representative and meet with the Governing Body and College Executive Team. Your views are important and to shape the student experience.

Elected Student Union Officers organise trips and social events for the student population. Not only does this add to your CV by enhancing your knowledge and skills, you will receive a free NUS Extra TOTUM card with complimentary entry to College events. You can use the discounts through your NUS card to visit local places of interest such as the Kent coast and exhibitions in London.

You will have many opportunities to develop your skills set whilst studying, whether working on projects at your college campus or undertaking work experience or volunteering. We will support you with your career development from identifying your skills set, developing effective job searching strategies, the application process and your online presence, whether on social media or a website.

As a student at the Hadlow Group, you are automatically a member of the Student Union, becoming an elected officer means you get involved with shaping your university experience. During Freshers' Week you will have the opportunity to register your interest and find out more. Start developing your graduate attributes by participating and growing your skills.
