We have been a partner of the University of Kent since 2006, offering a number of fashion, fine art, graphic design and photography foundation degree, HND and top-up degree programmes. Although you will study on the West Kent College campus in Tonbridge, our close relationship gives you access not only to the facilities at West Kent College, but also to the range of facilities at the University of Kent’s Canterbury and Medway campuses and the opportunity to graduate in Canterbury Cathedral.
Supporting and Advising
As a University of Kent student, you can seek advice from the University, as well as from West Kent College, on a range of financial, learning and student wellbeing questions. The University Careers and Employability Service is available to help with free impartial guidance during your studies and up to three years after you graduate. More than 95% of Kent students who graduated in 2015 were in work or further study within six months
Varied Social Life
There are, at the University, over 50 student sports clubs that you are able to join, a University arts centre (at Canterbury) with a theatre and a cinema, which shows both mainstream and independent films and over 180 student-led societies. Whatever your interests, the variety available ensures that you’ll be able to make the most of the opportunities and create the best student experience for yourself.
A Vibrant Community
The University has links with over 400 institutions throughout the world and a community of 171,000 graduates across 180 countries. You would join this network and be able to get involved in a variety of activities which benefit both current students and the alumni community.
