Lecturer in AAT

  • Salary: £24,022 - £32,318 pro rata, £9,608 - £12,927 per annum for the hours stated.
  • Hours: 14.8 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (0.4 FTE)

About the role

We are looking for a Lecturer in AAT, who will work as a member of a team to deliver a co-ordinated, integrated learning programme, ensuring learners receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success across the Business Administration and Law department.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or above, e.g. PGCE, Certificate in Education, DTLLS, or be currently undertaking or willing to achieve. It is essential to be CCAB qualified, this includes ACCA, ACA, CIMA, as well as being A1 or AAT equivalent qualified. You must hold Level 2, or higher, Literacy and Numeracy certificates.

The six units that are being studied are:

Advanced Bookeeping

Final Account Preparation

Management Accounting Costing

Indirect Tax

Ethics for Accountants

Spreadsheets for Accounting
