About the role

We are looking for a Technician in Electrical Installation to join our Sustainable Technologies team in Ashford.

As a Technician in Electrical Installation, you will support the department through efficient management of storerooms, stock levels, resources, and specialist facilities you will help ensure a positive student experience and a safe working environment.

You will supervise and provide technical support for students using the teaching spaces, software applications and studio facilities, as well as installing, maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 in an appropriate discipline and a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Maths and English. You will need to have excellent organisational skills and have a good level of knowledge and understanding in all aspects on sustainable technologies.
